EUCALYPTUS mild antiseptic properties

Leaves and bark.

Function:
Eucalyptus has mild antiseptic properties, which make it useful for minor skin irritations, antiviral actions which help reduce the proliferation of the cold virus when inhaled and antibacterial properties which make eucalyptus oil useful for cleaning.

Uses:
Eucalyptus is used to clear congestion of the upper respiratory tract and helps to relax and sooth tired sore muscles as well as temporarily relieving the pain of arthritis.

Guidelines:
Eucalyptus can be used as an inhalant, 6 drops of essential oil into hot water, inhale the vapors for about 10 minutes. If combined with bergamot, eucalyptus can be applied directly for the treatment of cold sores and chickenpox.

* Do not use on broken or irritated skin.
