This heavenly sauce can be used over ice cream, with a rice pudding or served over a fruit salad.
|2 2/3 Cup||Almond Milk|
|1 Stick||Agar-agar or ½ cup agar flakes|
|1/3Cup||Honey or maple syrup|
|½ tsp.||Almond extract|
|4 Cups||Ripe peaches, nectarines, mangoes and cherries ~ pureed|
Combine the first four ingredients in a medium sauce pot and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until agar softens. Add pureed fruit and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook until
agar-agar is completely dissolved. Place into a bowl until cool enough to eat if sauce is desired warm. Otherwise, after cooling, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
