This heavenly sauce can be used over ice cream, with a rice pudding or served over a fruit salad.
Ingredients: | |
2 2/3 Cup | Almond Milk |
1 Stick | Agar-agar or ½ cup agar flakes |
1/3Cup | Honey or maple syrup |
½ tsp. | Almond extract |
4 Cups | Ripe peaches, nectarines, mangoes and cherries ~ pureed |
Combine the first four ingredients in a medium sauce pot and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until agar softens. Add pureed fruit and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Cook until
agar-agar is completely dissolved. Place into a bowl until cool enough to eat if sauce is desired warm. Otherwise, after cooling, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
