Ingredients:
2 Cups Whole grain bread crumbs
2 Cups Cooked brown rice, or country wild rice (sold in the DTE bulk department).
½ Cup Walnut, pecan, or sunflower seeds, chopped
3 Tbs. Butter or oil
½ Cup Celery, diced
½ Cup Onion, chopped
½ Cup Black olives, sliced
2 tsp. Sage powder
2 Tbs. Parsley, dried
1 tsp. Spike seasoning
1 Cup Vegetable broth, (you can use the Mock Chicken broth powder sold in the DTE bulk department).
How to prepare:
1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl.
2. Sauté the remaining ingredients for about 4 minutes and then pour in the vegetable broth.
3. Pour these sautéed ingredients over the dry mixture and stir well.
4. Lightly oil a loaf pan or casserole dish, pat in the dressing and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes before serving.
