Is there any natural remedy for infections, safe for my 6 years old daughter?
It is completely safe for your 6 year old to take herbs like echinacea and garlic — even continuously. And there’s no risk she’ll develop immunities to these herbs.
For a six year old I would recommend 1/4 teaspoon twice per day of echinacea liquid extract. You might also consider an antioxidant formula that has vitamin C, E, A, Selenium and even Zinc. The children’s dose is one third of the adult dose.
You also might need to look at possible allergies or sensitivities to foods, dust and mites, molds, pollens, and/or animal dander – these could contribute to your daughter’s infections.
