How to cure migraine for men?

Q: My boyfriend suffers from very serious migraines. I was wondering if there were any suggestions on how to cure them and how to prevent them?

A1: I have found feverfew very good. One or two leaves a day will stop migraines from coming on, but you must use it every day. I find it easier to take a couple of leaves at the first signs of one and sit quietly for half an hour or so while it takes effect. It even stops the nausea.

A2: Do you know what the cause is of your boyfriend’s migraines? They can be caused by several different things. It could be stress, an overloaded stomach, sore neck and back muscles, etc. It would help if I knew the cause of his headaches. I will give some suggestions anyway. Take a cupful or two of hot peppermint, catnip, red sage or spearmint tea. (remember that catnip should be steeped and never boiled) Upon retiring take a cupful of hot hops tea, or if possible to retire when the headache comes on, take then; it will soothe the nerves and produce sleep. Res dage is one of the best herbs for headaches.

Here is a recipe for a liniment that when thoroughly applied to the forehead, temples, and back of the neck will give prompt relief. This liniment is also good for all pains, painful swellings, bruises, boils, skin eruptions of any kind, pimples, etc., apply the liniment every few minutes for an hour or two.

Combine two ounces of powdered myrrh, one ounce powdered golden seal, 1/2 ounce cayenne pepper, one quart rubbing alcohol (70 percent). Mix together and let stand 7 days, shake well every day, decant off, and bottle in corked bottles. It you do not have golden seal, you can make it without.

A3: Feverfew is the most common treatment for migraines. Though it can take several weeks to build up.
Coleus forkohlii works faster for most people , though it also drops blood pressure, so be careful with dosage. I would recommend capsules, the tincure will really make you gag.

Kudzu root is also said to be good for migraines. The whole root is used, not the extracted starch used in cooking. It is also available in capsules, or can be ordered from a Chinese herb supplier.

Magnesium can also be used to prevent migraines. Recommended dosage is 500mg, 2 to 3 times daily. Again the magnesium will lower blood pressure, but not drastically or suddenly like forskohlii. Too large of a dose will also cause diarrhea, so the amount taken will depend on the individual.

simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you have done a awesome job with this. Also, the blog loads very quick for me on Safari. Excellent Blog!

  2. For latest information you have to visit internet and on internet I found this web site as a finest
