Maple Sugar

In North America is derived a special sugar with a delicate flavor – practicing in a particular type of Maple (Acer saccharum) and collecting that cola syrup. This syrup is refined sugar and dried to obtain that was once used only in those regions.

Now, for many people, the syrup is used in the natural state, only slightly purified and filtered. Marketing is pretty easy finding of bottles of maple syrup, but to consider the labels reveals only a small percentage (15-20%) diluted with sugar cane syrup and reinforced artificially in the aroma. It can still be attractive also to spray Apple fritters or other fruits.
