Satisfy your craving for pizza with these zucchini tidbits. They have all the flavor of pizza, but they’re low in calories and fat.

Per 4 pizza circles:

1 medium zucchini
1/3 cup canned low-sodium tomato sauce
2 oz cooked and crumbled turkey sausage
1/4 cup (1 oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Spray a large cookie sheet with no-stick spray. Cut the zucchini crosswise into 16 slices, each 1/2-inch thick. Place the slices on the cookie sheets.
Spread each slice with 1 tsp of the sauce. Top with the turkey sausage. Then sprinkle each with equal amounts of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, basil and pepper.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Makes 16 pizza circles.
