Herb Spiral Rolls

1 loaf frozen bread, defrosted according to package directions

Herb Mixture:

1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
2 T butter
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh herbs, finely chopped (rosemary, oregano, basil, or any
combination you wish)
1/4 t salt and pepper

Melt butter in non-stick skillet, add onion, and cook till soft, over medium heat. Add garlic, cook 1 minute then add parsley, herbs and salt and pepper, and remove from the heat. On a lightly floured board roll thawed dough out to a 12×16 inch rectangle . Spread onion-herb mixture evenly over the dough. Beginning with the long side, roll up in jelly-roll fashion. Cut rolled dough into 1 inch slices; place cut side down in a lightly greased 9×9 pan. Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Turn out of pan onto serving plate.
